Bogwitch is the product name. A working public support email and telephone, and any required business registration and VAT details, have not yet been verified for publication. They must be provided before a live purchase. This preview does not supply a live support or privacy-request form.
Free Local and optional Pro
Local on Mac and Android is permanently free and requires no account or license. Canceling Pro, getting a refund, signing out, deleting an account or a service outage does not restrict Local. Supported app updates, including security and compatibility fixes, remain available after Pro cancellation.
Pro is an optional continuing cloud service between already-paired devices. Both devices must be enrolled with the same account, and you must separately enable cloud for the pair. Signing in, paying or recovering an account does not pair devices or recover their content-encryption keys.
Price and renewal
The selected Pro prices are USD 4 billed monthly or USD 39 billed yearly. The yearly price is equivalent to USD 3.25 per month, but is charged once per year. There is no trial, lifetime cloud plan or usage charge. Before payment, checkout must show the complete charge, currency, taxes, billing period and service limits. Where a local currency is supported, the verified checkout amount applies; Bogwitch does not calculate an exchange rate for your purchase.
Subscriptions renew automatically for the selected period until canceled. For annual renewal, we will send a reminder that you can retain at least one calendar month before the cancellation deadline, stating the renewal date, amount and cancellation route. A price or material terms change requires at least 30 days' advance notice that you can retain and an opportunity to cancel. Changes do not rewrite an already accepted paid period or reduce mandatory rights. These notice arrangements must be verified before sales open.
Service limits
The selected initial Pro limits are five enrolled devices, 20 GiB per account per calendar month for newly admitted encrypted stored deliveries plus accepted encrypted relay traffic, 10 GiB of outstanding stored delivery data and 5 GiB of original data per file. Relay retransmissions count; direct device-to-device traffic does not. Reaching a limit does not start paid overages. Availability and delivery are separate: an accepted send does not mean the recipient has received or saved it. The final offer must explain these limits before you pay.
Payment and product support
Bogwitch provides the app, service and product support. Stripe Managed Payments is the selected merchant-of-record arrangement for transaction services. Its agreement, approval, actual receipt entity, payment-support route and applicable buyer terms still need verification for this service. We do not claim that a live payment arrangement exists or that one provider handles every seller obligation or every country's taxes.
Before payment, you must be told who provides the transaction services, how to contact both product and payment support, and which buyer terms apply. Product and transaction complaints must have a clear owner; you must not be left to resolve a disagreement between providers.
Canceling and getting a refund
- Stop renewal: keep eligible Pro access until the paid-through time.
- End Pro now: end access when the request is accepted. Get a full refund within 14 days after the initial purchase or each renewal; afterwards, get a refund for unused whole days at the actual paid rate.
This 14-day full-refund policy applies globally. A broader applicable payment-provider policy or mandatory consumer remedy takes precedence. You do not need to give a reason, telephone support, buy anything else or first cancel elsewhere to use the applicable online action.
An accepted request can still be awaiting payment-provider processing, a tax adjustment or email delivery. It does not mean that money has reached your bank. If a payment was converted, we show the verified invoice-currency refund and identify any exact buyer-currency amount that remains unavailable. We do not estimate a converted refund or promise a bank arrival date.
Immediate use and withdrawal
Starting Pro immediately will require an explicit choice that is not selected in advance. Immediate activation does not remove the offered 14-day full refund, and Bogwitch will not deduct usage charges within that window. Withdrawal from the purchase is separate from stopping renewal or ordinary cancellation.
The live service must provide an accessible online withdrawal function throughout the applicable period, followed by a prompt acknowledgement that you can retain with the receipt time. You may also withdraw by email or another clear statement. The optional wording below is sufficient to express withdrawal; using it is not compulsory. Missing required information or a defect may give you rights beyond the website's self-service deadline.
Optional withdrawal statement: To Fred Bergwitz-Larsen at the address above: I notify you that I withdraw from my contract for Bogwitch Pro. Include your name, address, purchase reference or order date, a contact address for confirmation, and the date of your statement. Sign it if you send it on paper. The verified email route will be provided before sales open; this page does not submit a withdrawal.
Your accepted contract
No later than service start, you must receive a complete contract in a form you can retain and that cannot be changed afterwards. It must include the accepted terms and revision, parties, price, taxes, currency, plan, renewal information, any immediate-start request, and cancellation, refund and withdrawal information. A changing webpage or link alone is insufficient. Email is an additional delivery route. The complete confirmation and recovery arrangements are still being verified; this preview does not replace your purchase contract.
Deleting an account
Account deletion ends Pro now with the same refund policy, disables service access and signs out sessions. It does not unpair devices or erase files saved on them. Live cloud-content removal is targeted within 24 hours, and metadata backups expire within 30 days of original creation. Unconfirmed cleanup stays pending. Necessary financial records and minimal unfinished cleanup evidence can be retained separately, as explained in the privacy policy. An already accepted refund remains owed after deletion.
Your rights, complaints and applicable law
You retain applicable rights when a digital service is defective or does not meet its contract, including required security updates and remedies. These terms contain no blanket paid-service “as is” exclusion, no-refunds rule, liability cap or forced arbitration.
Swedish law applies without taking away mandatory consumer protections or competent consumer courts, including those of your home jurisdiction where applicable. There is no requirement to bring a consumer claim exclusively in Stockholm. Eligible disputes may be referred to Sweden's National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN); its current eligibility rules apply. The live terms will include verified complaint contacts. The former EU online dispute-resolution platform is not a complaint route.
